Senior Practitioner, Locality Team

We are looking to recruit a Senior Practitioner within a Children’s Locality Team in the Social Care Industry. Our client has a well-structured and organised team that are looking to grow their staffing levels. This is a unique opportunity to join an exciting and supportive team that are passionate about making a positive change in children’s lives.

Main duties include:

  • Carry out assessment of Children in Need and Children in Need of Protection
  • Undertake direct work with children and families
  • Give evidence in court
  • Care Planning
  • Undertaking initial investigations
  • Undertaking core investigations
  • Supporting junior members of the team

To be successful:

For this role you will need to be a Qualified Social Worker with a HCPC Registration and educated to a Social Work Degree Level; IE: CCS/CQSW/DIPSW/MA SW/BA HONS SW. You will need to have Eligibility to Work in the UK with previous experience as a Senior Practitioner within a Children’s Locality Team. This client does request that for this role the candidate must be a Car Driver.
