College Operations – Technical Services
This new part-time (0.4 FTE) post is available immediately on a fixed-term basis until 1 August 2020. The starting salary will be from £18,709 up to £22,417 on Grade C per annum pro-rata, depending on qualifications and experience.
Summary of the role
We are seeking to employ a Laboratory Assistant for the Medical School laboratories in Hatherly, based at our beautiful Streatham Campus. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support the neuroscience research groups and their students in those labs and to be part of technical team.
The ideal candidate will have worked as professional technical support in medical or biological labs before. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a customer orientated environment, has excellent communication and organisation skills, can provide assistance for routine tasks and is able to keep the labs in good order. An aptitude for using initiative and being able to work in an environment without constant supervision is desirable too.
