Clinical Fellow in Paediatric Ophthalmology

Applications are invited for the Paediatric Ophthalmology fellowship in Ophthalmology based at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, available August 2020, for a period of 6 or 12 months in the first instance.

Candidates should be post CCT or equivalent and wish to specialise in Paediatric Ophthalmolohy.

This post is suitable for doctors who have completed their training but seek experience in Paediatric Ophthalmology prior to obtaining a consultant appointment. It is not an approved training post. Candidates are welcome to visit the Department and are invited to contact consultant Darius Hildebrand at the Oxford Eye Hospital, Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust, The John Radcliffe (email [email protected]).

Any person who is unable for personal reasons to work full-time will be eligible to be considered for the post. If such a person is appointed, modification of the job content will be discussed on a personal basis, in consultation with consultant supervisors. Suitably qualified job-share candidates will be considered.
